Engineered for the frequency spectrum
your mission depends on.
WirEng® designs and manufactures passive and active drone connectivity solutions — bidirectional amplifiers, super-wide band antennas, and non-invasive controller interfaces compatible with most drone brands.
Most drone-fleet operators don't need a new drone. They need a drone connectivity solution.
The standard OEM drone controller comes with stock antennas optimized for average conditions. But real-world missions are rarely average. In urban environments, RF-congested environments, or for extended-range operations, real-time video performance can deteriorate long before the telemetry feed transmission fails.
A WirEng® ExtAnt™ interface allows connecting your OEM controller to amplifiers and antennas. The firmware and hardware stay unmodified, everything stays certified, the warranty stays intact, and the drone range increases by as much as a factor of four, depending on the WirEng® drone connectivity system you choose.
Tested first with OEM controller alone and then with a WirEng® system connected via the ExtAnt™, ExtAnt-Plus™, and ExtAnt-Plus-2™ interfaces.
Just four steps
to enhanced drone control
Keep scrolling, each step appears as you scroll.
Five key features. Symbiotic integration.
Controlling a drone from inside a vehicle only lets you go approximately 2.2 miles without system, and more than 7 miles with the MDC-OMNI-EB™ IAT™+Gen4™ system.
Bidirectional amplification, switched in a tenth of a microsecond.
WirEng® IAT™ Intelligent Antenna Technology coupled with WirEng® Gen4™ powerful boosting technology enable performance that is light years ahead of the competition, with up to 20 times more power and at least 10 times faster TX/RX switching time.
WirEng® offers the only drone connectivity system that is virtually omnidirectional, so you can fly in any direction and any altitude.
Virtually omnidirectional coverage.
With WirEng® OmniDrone-ACV™ and RadiAnt-ACV™ IAT™+Gen4™ antennas you'll never have to worry about your flying direction. Not even OEM controllers can achieve this, because they're semi-directional and not omni-directional.
Dual boosting for Autel and Parrot, Quad boosting for DJI, and Hex boosting for Skydio, among other brands.
Up to 80 MHz channels. Customizable for more bands.
99% coherent Dual, Quad, and Hex boosting maximizes diversity on all bands. Parallel architecture allows using all three bands simultaneously. Ultra-wide band performance on all bands, with all channel width supported, including 10/20/40/80/160 MHz.
Our ExtAnt™ series slide-on interfaces are the only reliable way to access all four controller's antennas without any modifications.
Slide-on quad-antenna interfaces. No mods.
Access all four antennas in the DJI RC Plus 2, RC Plus, RC Pro, RC Pro Enterprise and connect to boosters or antennas via the interface SMA connectors, without any firmware/software/hardware modifications, so your controller will still hold its DJI warranty and agency certifications. All WirEng® slide-on interfaces access all four external/internal antennas.
Every unit ships with a retained internal performance record for quality assurance.
Sealed, shock-rated, fully tested before it ships.
CNC-machined 6061-T6 enclosures, sealed to IP67 / IP69K, qualified to MIL-STD-810H Method 514.8 for shock and vibration. Assembled in Houston under ITAR-compliant supply-chain controls.
